but you have a place to stay, a job and a car and food and clothes, of course, and you have a good job with great benefits by making it more money or prefer to have all new furniture, custom home, sports teams, holidays, debt plasma TV and a mile high? But at least you look good on the outside for people to want to hang out with you because they think they have everything! Be honest, I know the "PC" answer is zero debt, but no furniture the car is just okay and the house, people will think that is broken before the person who "appears" to have it all. It is not that material things are everything this is just a "survey" type of question you do not have to answer if you want to write the answer that makes you look good.

I'd rather have zero debt, and not the PC thing to say. It's the sensible thing to say. Who needs the constant pressure of all the bills? I used to worry about what others people thought of me when I was in my 20's, but that is irrational nonsense. Anyone who says he prefers that the debt is not thinking correctly.
